Part of an athletic family, Billy wanted to create a sporting event that would help raise money for cancer research.

From its early heritage until today, Pathfinder Village has believed in shifting the lives of people with Down Syndrome from fenced-in institutions into the general community, allowing them full and complete participation in society.

The second story provides a look into the continuing efforts of Save the Sound and the Preserve Plum Island Coalition. Their goal is to preserve public land on Plum Island threatened by government attempts to sell it to the highest bidder.
