The Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC), was founded in the midst of civil unrest during the 1991 Mount Pleasant riots. Their goal is to help stimulate the economic and social advancement of low to moderate income Latinos and other underserved communities in the D.C. and Baltimore Areas.
